A Philippine Airlines flight to Los Angeles with 121 persons on board had to perform an emergency landing in Guam after an attempted hijack. The terrorist, who has been identified as a 32 year-old flight attendant, was armed with a small automatic weapon and tried to take control of the plane before being shot down by a police officer present in the plane. An unidentified passenger was severely injured in the shooting and is currently in a medically-induced coma in the Naval Hospital of Guam.
ISEA claimed responsibility for the action, promising to strike again.
