Press Statement from the Government of Vietnam

It has been brought to the attention of the Vietnamese cabinet that our recent efforts to combat ISEA on Filipino territory is unjustified and should be regarded as an explicit act of imperialism. Contrary to these rumors, Vietnam assures the Philippines and the rest of the international community that our purpose in the Philippines is to eradicate a threat that has put our own nation at risk. ISEA has stated in the past that, until they achieve their goals, they will continue to target not only the Philippines but also allies of the Philippines. Furthermore, the failed plot to bomb Hanoi is an obvious act of aggression from ISEA and we will take appropriate action to ensure the safety of our people.
