WASHINGTON --
The American Navy has moved forces to form a naval blockade, from the southern tip of Taiwan to the Senkaku Islands. The United States does not appear to be interested in intervening in the war erupting in Vietnam, but are actively pursuing actions to defend the Philippines from a hypothetical attack.
