PRESS RELEASE FROM THE MINISTER OF COMMERCE
In response to the recent update about my actions to anger the Hoa people, I am appalled at the
false statements made in the article. The ministry has made many financial contributions to the
Hoa business community in Vietnam throughout the years and as the Minister of Commerce, I
can honest say that I did NOT call all Vietnamese “Dau Ma May”. I am disheartened by the false
allegations regarding my relationship with the Hua business group and the Vietnamese citizens.
It is a disgrace to read such lies and inappropriate language being spread by the recent article
made by some blogger spreading wrong information.
