Press Release from the Cabinet of Vietnam

A joint operation by the American Central Intelligence Agency and Vietnamese Police Forces has revealed an ISEA plot to bomb Hanoi. Thankfully the weapons were located and confiscated in time. The ISEA cell responsible is still at large but the authorities are working tirelessly to clamp down on the perpetrators and prevent the spread of the Islamic militancy into Vietnam.

It has become clear that the Philippines have failed in their effort to control this threat on their own soil, so the Armed Forces of Vietnam have agreed to send assistance to the region. This will result in an increased Vietnamese naval and military presence in the area. The Government of Vietnam wishes to alert the international community of this movement in the name of transparency.
