The relations between China and Vietnam during this time of crisis have begun to take an interesting turn. In recent observations, it has been found that the People's Republic of China and Vietnam have began to share intel with one another, not concerning themselves with the potential results of this decision.
Ties between the two nations were severed at the beginning of this rough time, but seem to have made some repairs. Yet, in China, outbreaks continue to arise, while Vietnamese-Chinese citizens are being target by Chinese citizens for their connection to the events that have unfolded.
As of now, there seems to be no repercussions from the intel leaks to and from the two nations, but as others are concerned, especially the locals, they have yet to wonder if the decisions of China and Vietnam are really in the best interest of the security of both nations.
