Hot Dog Man Dies Trying to Bring Attention to Kidnapping
Philippines News Agency

An innocent individual dies after trying to bring attention to the the kidnapping of the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government, Mar Roxas.

After the recent kidnapping of the Secretary of the Interior, the Philippine government took a neighborhood-like approach to finding the missing Secretary. In order to attract the initial attention of individuals throughout the country, civilians paired together to wear large costumes, while holding signs with the Secretary's picture and stats on it. This indeed worked to promote the attention towards the kidnapped Secretary, but the program is now set to be revoked after a surprising accident.

Unfortunately, in a discouraging turn of events, and in the Philippine heat, a civilian trying to promote the search for the Secretary died today of intense heat exhaustion. After wearing a hotdog suit for extended hours a day, for over a week, the individual neglected to care for their hydration, and passed away this morning.

The Philippines plans to revoke or revise this program as soon as they can.
