BREAKING: US Embassy Closed in Philippines

WASHINGTON--
Secretary of State John Kerry has announced that all diplomatic and consular missions in the Philippines will be abruptly closed. In the wake of the ISEA attack on a Starbucks located adjacently to the American Embassy in Manila, Secretary Kerry has ordered for all consular and diplomatic staff to be withdrawn from the country, leaving only the Ambassador and critical staff, currently operating from the Embassies of American allies in the capital.

The Department of State has revised its travel advisories for the Philippines, encouraging American citizens to return back to the United States amidst constant attacks perpetrated by ISEA.
