Press Release from the Chairman of The Vietnamese Fatherland Front,

As Chairman of The Vietnamese Fatherland Front, I would like to further establish the Vietnamese Government’s values of equality, human rights, and religious freedom. Given the current state of affairs in the Philippines and their continued denial of recognition and rights to freedom of religious practice to minorities within their country, we are afraid the Islamic Militants see no other course of action to attain attention but to escalate acts of terrorism to extend outside the borders of the Philippines. We fear greatly for the lives of Vietnamese Citizens, and sincerely hope that the Government of the Philippines finds itself willing to work with Vietnam in order to settle this growing issue of terrorism within the Philippines and apathy within the Filipino Government.
