United States Fails to Uphold Obligation to Defend Allies and Democracy, Government Ineffective and Incompetent as Usual

LOS ANGELES--
Marches in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Seattle, Toronto, New York, and Houston have emerged with Filipino Americans criticizing the American government for failing to uphold its responsibility to protect the Philippines.

Many have expressed concerns for family back home, citing the nearly daily incidents ranging from hostage taking to car bombings. The introduction of the Islamic State of East Asia (ISEA) has seen the merger of Al Qaeda-backed Jemaah Islamiyah, Abu Sayyaf, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, and the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters.

With over 3.4 million Filipino Americans, at over 1% of the US Population, the Filipino diaspora in the United States has called for continued marches in order to rally the American public to compel the government to act in defense of their legally obligated ally.

Scores of Filipino Americans are threatening to return to the Philippines in order to combat ISEA.
With the Secretariat of Interior and Local Government taken hostage, along with five American Peace Corps volunteers, the United States seems to have little interest in the developments of the Philippines.

The State Department has not yet revised its travel advisory for visitors to the Philippines, and ISEA has called upon volunteers from Malaysia and Indonesia to partake in the liberation of the Philippines. Will the US intervene like it always has upholding democracy? Or will it sit idly by as pacifist and isolationist as it always will be.
