Press Release from [Lt. Gen Ngo Xuan Lich Commander Vietnamese Ground Forces]

It is our duty to report that the treasonous Governor of Yunnan Province, Chen Hao, has been captured by Vietnamese Special Operations group. He is being held in custody pending negotiations with China. We have indeniable proof of eventual Yunnan secession and such acts will not be tolerated.  The Armed Forces of Vietnam finds actions of this kind repugnant and against all values held by both political parties. Forces have been moved into the Yunnan Province to assist the Chinese in keeping peace and order. These forces are temporary and no shots will fired on our side unless we are fired upon. We thank the Chinese government for their understanding of the situation and our mutual goal to keep the Chinese Nation intact and prosperous future relations on both sides.
