BREAKING NEWS: Vietnamese Spy Seeking Asylum at Chinese Embassy

HANOI--
Reports currently emerging that an individual high in the Vietnamese government is currently seeking asylum at the Chinese Embassy in Hanoi, apparently fleeing in fear of persecution of the Vietnamese government. Sources state that the individual is Major General Nguyen Quang Dam, the Commander of the Marine Police Force of Vietnam. Reports state the the Commander may have been working in collusion with the Chinese government, responsible for the sinking of the Nanjing, to legitimize Chinese military action in the South China Sea.

The Commander, responsible for the defense of Vietnamese coastlines, has generated rifts within the Vietnamese public for the engagements-- or lack of, with Chinese naval forces. Sources believe that the Vietnamese government is actively calling for the extradition of Nguyen on accounts of espionage.

No comment has been received from Beijing as of yet.
