China Undergoes Series of Potentially Threatening Court Hearings
CNN News
The President of China, Xi Jinping, has decided to attempt to try the Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi, in court for corruption and treason against the People's Republic of China. The worry to President Jinping stems from Yi's involvement in the issues that have unfolded between the People's Republic of China, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
The Chinese Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, Wang Qishan, is planned to preside over the hearings, set to happen in the immediate future.
Although the international community continues to be concerned about what the potential outcome of the hearings will mean for China, and fear another execution.
