BREAKING NEWS----- Subic Bay Bombing
There has been what appears to be a bombing attempt made at the Subic Bay Naval Base in Olongapo, Zambales, Philippines as of this afternoon.
Partial reactivation was planned for the Subic Bay Naval Base in a joint effort between the United States and the Philippines through the The Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement, signed in April.
The current suspect, of what many are claiming to be a terrorist attack, is currently unknown. Local reports in the Philippines purport it to be a failed test conducted by the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
Founded in 1977 by Hashim Salamat, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front has become, overtime, a lethal rebel group in the Philippines whose strive to seek autonomy of the Moro people from the central government.
As of now, the target of the failed bombing is unknown. There are concerns that it was directed towards the United States, and the recent efforts to reactivate the base and increase military American military presence in the Philippines.
